Symposium Venue

Fremantle, Western Australia

For the first time in more than a decade, the annual KBS Symposium returns to Australia.

Fremantle, or Walyalup in the local Nyoongar language, is the host city for the 2024 KBS symposium from May 27-31.

Located 30 minutes south of Perth, Western Australia’s capital, Fremantle/Walyalup was chosen as both a popular destination for international and interstate visitors and an ideal venue for a 5-day conference, providing user-friendly and historic venues with myriad accommodation and dining options. ‘Freo’ is also a convenient launching pad for pre- or post-conference touring as well as the social events that feature in the KBS program.
